Guest Dirty Davy Cash Posted December 22, 2004 Posted December 22, 2004 Have any of ye read Pirates: Terror on the High Seas? Me would be very appreciative of any replies on this particular book.
HarborMaster Posted December 22, 2004 Posted December 22, 2004 Yes I have. Out of David Cordingly's books., I would have to say Terror on the Hiigh Seas is the better of the two. It is a more complete and accurate account of piracy. Also it covers a much longer history of time as opposed to most books focusing on only caribbean pirates. Terror focuses more on a global point of view. I would have to say its the best book I have read yet., and in Coffee Table version you get wonderful lithos and artwork from museums and admiralties. Definitely get the book. I am not Lost .,I am Exploring. "If you give a man a fire, he will be warm for a night, if you set a man on fire, he will be warm for the rest of his life!"
