Jack Sparrow Tattoo Help

I was wondering if anybody could help me out with Sparrow's tattoo? I need a rather large, high quality picture of it for a craft project for my Depp Obsessed 14 year old neice.

Does anybody have one of those Capt Jack tattoos listed on Ebay? These too expensive for my blood says I.

If anybody could help me out with a scan or something! I be much obliged and I shall buy you 3 tankards of the finest rum!!

found it. If you go to Cafepress.com and go to the store "A Pirate at Heart, there are a bunch of pictures of the sparrow tattoo. Some lots bigger than others.

Good find. What on earth made you look on Cafepress for something like that?

One thing to note is that it looks to be based on the tattoo that JD has with the name Jack under it. The one from the film is a wee bit different, starting with the sparrow flying the oppostite direction and differences in the waves and such.

Here's one I scribbled out yesterday. It's a combination of the film version and his Jack ink. It's at 300 dpi so it's much larger than most out there. I'll leave it up there for a bit.

We could make a stencil and then airbrush it onto a beige shirt with the proper color of blue...just so it'll look like a giant tattoo.

So I was rummaging through my local Walgreens and came upon a package of temporary tattoo printer paper! I haven't tried it yet, but it might be worth checking out. You can print out as many bits as you like, and then cut them out.

Was thinking about handing out some skull/crossbone designs for an upcoming pirate event. . .

My friend Toby gave me one when he was running around as Jack Sparrow at Comic Con. Had a whole bunch of them and was passing them out. I have yet to use it tho, just cool to have. :)

It should be noted that the tattoo (as shown on Pirate At Heart) is mirror- inverted and slightly rotated.

Jack's tattoo (in the movie) shows the sparrow flying from right to left, and the waves are about horizontal.

The real tattoo that Johnny Depp (the actor) had himself made later also depicts the sparrow as flying from left to right.
