JoshuaRed Posted September 2, 2004 Posted September 2, 2004 Excellent! I'll get on yer list at once. I enjoy Mt. Gay's Extra Old, picked some up in Barbados in April. Ever try Calico Jack rum? It might just be local brand. Not very good, but worth it for the killer label!

Black Dog Posted September 10, 2004 Posted September 10, 2004 Blackjohn - Signing the articles - the first step?? Currently I am but a landlubber, standing on the shore waiting for a chance to join a crew. All I ask is a fair portion of rum and plunder. I offer some skill with arms and can pick up the finer points of seaman ship with a bit of practice. I believe myself to be a quick study of whatever is needed as part of the crew. A bit of skill in carpentry may help with careening the company's vessel as needed. I look forward to lift'n a tall rum with you. Scotch if you like. If there are any of the crew near Richmond I would like to hear from them as well. You can ner' have enough sand in yer stew.
Dorian Lasseter Posted September 14, 2004 Posted September 14, 2004 Aye Ladds n' Lassies, lordy, ye folks have plenty a talkin' on th' group at yahoo... Well... Silkie McDonough Posted June 28, 2009 Posted June 28, 2009 For some reason I can't find the Lock House posts. Can someone point me in the right direction please?
Tartan Jack Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 (edited) For some reason I can't find the Lock House posts. Can someone point me in the right direction please? Which ones? This year's plans are here: http://www.piratebrethren.com/forum/viewto...f=23&t=1728 Edited June 29, 2009 by Tartan Jack -John "Tartan Jack" Wages, of South Carolina
Silkie McDonough Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 I could have sworn I had seen some on this forum. Hmmmm
blackjohn Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 That's where we are doing the planning. My Home on the Web The Pirate Brethren Gallery Dreams are the glue that holds reality together.
Silkie McDonough Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 I saw that, but I was looking for the dates (found them on the Pirate Brethren Forum) but I thought for sure I saw SOME discussion here on the pub. Oh well. This hasn't been the first time and will likely not be the last that I have read something that isn't there. lol

This hasn't been the first time and will likely not be the last that I have read something that isn't there. lol Silkie, While there is nothing much there, a brief dialogue between som of the people on the pub that are going happened On This Thread
Silkie McDonough Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 I KNEW I saw something here on the pub! lol
Tartan Jack Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 I know I have talked about it briefly in various threads (like one on PC DYI tents), but don't know of any particular main thread. -John "Tartan Jack" Wages, of South Carolina
blackjohn Posted June 29, 2009 Posted June 29, 2009 I KNEW I saw something here on the pub! lol I've pointed everyone who posted there to the thread on the Pirate Brethren's forum, with a note asking that, in order to preserve my sanity, they do me the courtesy of letting me know their intentions to attend, etc. The more the merrier, but I'm not a fan of surprises and walk-on reenactors. With walk-ons, you never know what you might be getting, from both a historical accuracy perspective, and more importantly, from a safety perspective.
