Redd Oktober Posted July 9, 2004 Share Posted July 9, 2004 One o' me mates at work be wonderin' if there be any rowin' songs out there...He says that he knows plenty of "rope hauling" songs...but was wonderin' if there be songs of the rowing variety...or if there even is a difference. Trapper Posted July 9, 2004 Share Posted July 9, 2004 Well, there's "Pique La Balene", a French whaleboat rowing shanty, and there's "Mingulay Boat Song", a Scottish rowing song.
