Dream Wench Posted May 26, 2004 Posted May 26, 2004 Where might we be findin' Pilgrim shoes....with a tongue, and a silver buckle ? Me fingers do the walkin' but they not be findin' Pilgrim shoes. The makers o Garb have ta see that all people does not fit one syze. Arr ! Pyrates come in all syzes. John_Young Posted May 27, 2004 Posted May 27, 2004 Of of the fine "No Quater Given" publications told us how ta make em. Ye take a nice cowboy boot with a round or square toe... cut off the booty part. Attach a buckle from a clothing store. Viola! "Yo Ho, all together hoist the colours high Heave Ho, theives and beggers Never shall we die..." "I don't care who ye say you are lad, if ye say 'savvy' one more time, I'll bury this cutlass in that thick skull of yers!" -Captain John Young - PILF
Hawkyns Posted May 27, 2004 Posted May 27, 2004 Tha buckled slip-ons wud be doublin'as Witch slippers, too at All Hallows Eve ! FYI, if the shoes fit properly, they are not slip ons. You do actually have to fasten the buckles. Hawkyns Cannon add dignity to what otherwise would be merely an ugly brawl I do what I do for my own reasons. I do not require anyone to follow me. I do not require society's approval for my actions or beliefs. if I am to be judged, let me be judged in the pure light of history, not the harsh glare of modern trends.
