Lady Maupin Posted May 7, 2004 Posted May 7, 2004 What is the name of the island Captain Jack Sparrow was "stranded" on? I think I've had too much to drink! Yarrrrr!!
BLACK SKOT Posted May 7, 2004 Posted May 7, 2004 Hmmmm....Did it have a name? I don't recall. I remember that it was used by rum runners. BLACK SKOT ---(BLACKIE) "Quarter" Master Pyrates of the Coast "Permit me aboard and I'll be takin' over yer ship... Don't permit me aboard and I'll still take over yer ship"
Thadius Drake Posted May 7, 2004 Posted May 7, 2004 Petite Tabeque(sp)? I was listening to the commentary from Verbinski and Depp, and I think that is what they called the island. On the other hand, my hearing is shot. The answer is probably on the commentary somewhere, though. Drake

There is NO official name for this strip of sand where Jack was marooned. In the script it was refered to only as an islat, a tiny strip of sand. However..... Well, you may not realize it but your looking at the remains of what was once a very handsome woman!
