Hmmmm....Did it have a name?

I don't recall.

I remember that it was used by rum runners.

Petite Tabeque(sp)? I was listening to the commentary from Verbinski and Depp, and I think that is what they called the island. On the other hand, my hearing is shot. The answer is probably on the commentary somewhere, though.

Okay folks, here it is.....

There is NO official name for this strip of sand where Jack was marooned. In the script it was refered to only as an islat, a tiny strip of sand.

However.....

They did tell me that if you all would like a name for it... they will come up with one for you.

Well?????

Begad!! Such gallantry & grace! LOL!! I thank ALL of you for your clever duelling!

No Dueling involved missy....

This name comes straight from the writers of the film itself.

And you're welcome.
