I gotta ask, did you print this masterpiece in FDM or Resin? (Or sone parts A, some parts B?). I'm currently working through a Caribbean house project (STL from a recent kickstarter), but I'm thinking I might need to tackle one of these next!
Patrick Hand Posted Thursday at 11:52 PM Author Posted Thursday at 11:52 PM Michael... I printed it FDM on my Bambu A1 mini... It took some effort (and some files and sandpaper) to remove all of the supporting "nubs". I painted it with Liquitex acrylics and then gave it (and the paper mache sails) a wash of burnt umber oil paint mixed with mineral spirits (let it set for about an hour, and then wipe off some of the sxcess)
Patrick Hand Posted Thursday at 11:55 PM Author Posted Thursday at 11:55 PM I finished and posted the 1/56th Scale (28mm) 17th Century Spanish Gun Emplacement, Cannons, Gun Crew, and Gabions. On Thingiverse.... https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6956322 (The .STL files are free to download.)

michaelsbagley Posted yesterday at 01:15 PM Posted yesterday at 01:15 PM Those figures look great.... Amazing job! But still loving that long boat with the sail.
Mary Diamond Posted yesterday at 08:07 PM Posted yesterday at 08:07 PM Oh, wow! I love how the gun emplacement came together - you do know I am trying to avoid buying another piece of equipment (i.e. 3d printer)… You are eroding my resolve. Oooh, shiny!
