Stynky Tudor Posted January 22 Posted January 22 After the 2024 APRIL 1721 Life of a Sailor and 2024 Tooele events, I've decided that I need something more comfortable to sit on. So I've started making simple cushions out of old canvas and 4 inch bed topper foam.
michaelsbagley Posted January 22 Posted January 22 Those are magnificant! Perfect solution to an aging problem.... 😕 I wish I felt I didn't need one as well.

What are you saying? I'm old!?! Okay, I am... These are roughly 12x12 and I should have at least six of them when I'm done. Plus I plan to make a couple larger 12x24 cushions. Anyway, there should be extras for those of us with elderly boney butts.
madPete Posted January 23 Posted January 23 We can have a harem tent now, like at Long Beach! Aye... Plunder Awaits!

Stynky Tudor Posted January 23 Author Posted January 23 Cushions, cushions, cushions, I've finished the last 3, so there's a total of 6. The other 3 pieces of foam, are for the larger 12x24 I'm making next.

madPete Posted Wednesday at 03:29 PM Posted Wednesday at 03:29 PM I made this several years ago. finally found it in the modern camping stuff. Made from a yoga mat about 3/4 inch thick. It's pretty firm with ticking cover. I need to find another yoga mat, cutting it up will make at least 6 maybe? Aye... Plunder Awaits!

Very cool, they're a lot easier to transport too. The ones I made are pretty bulky - the plan is to bring them to the Fort King George event and either give them away or leave them there in storage...except for the one I need.
Mary Diamond Posted Wednesday at 07:22 PM Posted Wednesday at 07:22 PM Yoga mats! What a great idea! Though they would also be very good for bedding, to ease any discomfort from the ropes. I will keep my eyes open… Oooh, shiny!
madPete Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago Well, they arent luxurious. but they do take less space. Aye... Plunder Awaits!
