Red-Handed Jill Posted January 4 Posted January 4 Well - crap. The estuary channel in Oakland is where our sailboat was berthed. Back when we sailed there, we did see the occasional scuppered boat, but not nearly in those numbers. I'm guessing it's a post-COVID thing.

I'm sure that COVID has a lot to do with it. But I suspect it's also a reflection on our current situation in the US, the lack of affordable housing, the swell of displaced working people, the unhoused and homeless.
