William Brand Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 I could take Lily in a fight. (provided I was really quiet and sneaky and she was already asleep)
Lily Alexander Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 Well, you have plenty of opportunities then. I think I'm gonna sleep for a month, lol If you're gonna give me a headache, please bring me an aspirin! http://www.forttaylorpyrates.com/
Captain Jim Posted December 9, 2012 Posted December 9, 2012 Great captions, dear Surgeon. Exactly the sort of thing I had in mind. Wah...Wah...Waaaaahhhh... My occupational hazard bein' my occupation's just not around...
Commodore Swab Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 Would you let these two aboard your ship? Do you think it would still be your ship at the end of the day? That gun is way to pretty . . .
Captain Jim Posted December 10, 2012 Posted December 10, 2012 Aye, 'tis a pretty gun. My occupational hazard bein' my occupation's just not around...
madPete Posted December 12, 2012 Posted December 12, 2012 Aye. it was purloined off a ship destined for the king of spain, so I guess it was too pretty for him as well! mP Aye... Plunder Awaits!

William Brand Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 Tony...wow. That is a good shot! And Tony does it again...move over Uncle Sam. I WANT YOU FOR THE MERCURY! And this photo of so many good ships passing in close quarters...just perfect.
Captain Jim Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 (edited) Wow, that mortar shot...perfect! And 'tis a fine shot of the tip end of me finger! "Clap that man in irons!" Edited December 17, 2012 by Captain Jim My occupational hazard bein' my occupation's just not around...
Captain Jim Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 And lest I forget, as I am often wont to do, thank you Fayma and Tony Callahan, Pappa and Momma Ratsey, for adopting us poor pyrates and taking on so much for our benefit. You guys are priceless. My occupational hazard bein' my occupation's just not around...
Captain Jim Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 OK, triple posting here. So sue me. I gotta comment on the mortar shot. The overcast day served to drop the exposure settings so that the burning powder within the ball of smoke caused a glow from within. Difficult lighting, Tony nailed it. There's nothing modern in the picture. Fantastic shot. My occupational hazard bein' my occupation's just not around...
Mission Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 Good one of Scarlett Jai. Good one of Jaded Jetty (I'm gonna use that one.) Barnacle Beau sassin' the camera Roderic Hawkins, buccaneer You know, he almost looks reasonable here. (Don't be taken in.) Mycroft: "My brother has the brain of a scientist or a philosopher, yet he elects to be a detective. What might we deduce about his heart?" John: "I don't know." Mycroft: "Neither do I. But initially he wanted to be a pirate."
Mission Posted December 17, 2012 Posted December 17, 2012 Whatever do you suppose it is that she is giggling at? Ha ha. Denice. (Bet she'll regret pulling that face.) Why does Deadeye remind me of Gilligan here? DB Couper, jaunty sailor, seller of cheap black market trinket knock-offs Those... damned... cigars! Love this one even better than the last one. She's either gonna kiss ya' or kill ya'. (You decide.) Iron Jon after a hard day of shooting Brits. Mycroft: "My brother has the brain of a scientist or a philosopher, yet he elects to be a detective. What might we deduce about his heart?" John: "I don't know." Mycroft: "Neither do I. But initially he wanted to be a pirate."
