silas thatcher Posted June 1, 2012 Posted June 1, 2012 scott, i think due to the heat the past two years, most of the northerners have opted to ixnay the fort...don't blame them really... i will not be able to attend this june, but i think carl and aj ( bos'n carl and his son) will be attending...kinduva shame more won't be able to make it... darrell really went all out in accommodating us even though we didn't really fit in... a few of us will probably be attending the fall fort... just look for the mercury flag !!
William Brand Posted June 1, 2012 Posted June 1, 2012 If I had my way I'd never miss Fort de Chartres. It's a beautiful fort and easily one of my favorite locations for a period event. I wish I was wealthy enough to go where I will.

The weather was beautiful, but I truly understand that not everyone can make all events. I am also planning to attend the Fort in the fall. Hope to see everyone there. AVAST YE !!
