There isn't much in there about making them, but there is a little discussion towards the end about how they may have been made. Not much help, but it is a start... Looks like a lot of work, although the Duchess claims they are "surprisingly easy to make!" Claudine de Montigny gives another tutorial with a boatload of photos.
