Jib Posted December 19, 2011 Posted December 19, 2011 Do you remember those "Choose your own adventure books"? You would read a story and then get a choice of what happens next. I got something similar you might enjoy. http://www.facebook.com/pages/Jibs-Tales-of-Adventure-Exploration-and-Debauchery/212579662151879
Honour Bright Posted December 20, 2011 Posted December 20, 2011 I loved those books as much as my kids did. We would read them out loud and discuss what we would do and debate the outcome and then look to see if we made a wise choice. Taking on the world....one pair of boots at a time! A little bit of this...a little bit of that...a lot of dreams....
Jib Posted January 4, 2012 Author Posted January 4, 2012 New adventure posted with Francis Drake and his voyage to the great western ocean. Inspired by historical events.
Honour Bright Posted January 9, 2012 Posted January 9, 2012 I had fun with it! Taking on the world....one pair of boots at a time! A little bit of this...a little bit of that...a lot of dreams....
Jib Posted January 15, 2012 Author Posted January 15, 2012 Don't be shy my pirate friends. This is not a facebook game like Mafia Wars or Farmville. Rather it is a series of short stories where you determine how a tale ends. I start a mini adventure ("You are trapped in the Four Turns tavern in Port Royal by the rival crew of Juan "The Snake" Gomez! What do you do?"). I include a graphic and you simply comment on how you'd handle the situation. You can be funny, serious, or even post that you think that my tales stink! Who knows it might amuse you...
Honour Bright Posted January 20, 2012 Posted January 20, 2012 I'm amused! Except I can't quite get into Steampunk! Taking on the world....one pair of boots at a time! A little bit of this...a little bit of that...a lot of dreams....
Jib Posted January 26, 2012 Author Posted January 26, 2012 I have placed two Steampunk adventures on the site. Most of the tales will take place in either the Buccaneering or Golden Age of Piracy time lines.
