Dread Pyrate Greyhound Posted November 18, 2011 Posted November 18, 2011 Five pirate Haiku I wrote one day before Theatre class last semester. Feel free to add your own pirate haiku, if you have any. Tortuga Revel into night Gambling, drinking, wenching RUM! On the Turtle's back Doubloons Sparkling gold doubloons Behold wealth of Spanish Main Shinning in the sun Pirate Gold Blood money paid to A hundred sea robbers bold Behold! Pirate Gold! Bury it Deep! Dig! Bury it deep! Down! My chest of gold and jewels! And dead men won't speak! Galleon Grand See the galleon sail She flies the Jolly Roger On the Spanish Main Let every man Know freedom, Kings be damned, And let the Devil sort out the mess afterwards.
Blackbead Posted July 25, 2012 Posted July 25, 2012 raising the black flag hot winds blow out of the west never will I die "In the end, it's not the gold that sets our sails, 'Tis freedom and the promise of a better life That raises our black flags."
William Brand Posted July 26, 2012 Posted July 26, 2012 blood in rivulets hang in strings of crimson gore innocent no more
The Doctor Posted July 29, 2012 Posted July 29, 2012 Haiku is easy but mostly they don't make sense. Refrigerator. Yo ho ho! Or does nobody actually say that?
