Duchess Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 In the past we've waited until November to get the gift exchange rolling. In the past this time frame has often been too short to properly keep overseas folks in the time frame of the Holiday Season. So, I'm doing a little survey to gauge the Pub's interest in participating in a Gift Exchange again this year. If there is enough interest, I'll start putting together the information and we'll get things rolling a bit earlier this year.
Island Cutter Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 Interested in participating. "No Profit Grows Where is No Pleasure Taken."
James Smythe Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 It's a possibility, but I need to know more first.
PoD Posted October 9, 2011 Posted October 9, 2011 I'm definately up for it again this year. Be good to get it in the post earlier too as last years didnt arrive at my giftees(?) until way after xmas. ...and then I discovered the wine...
wes1761 Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 I'm in again!! If it was raining soup, I'd be stuck outside with a fork.....
Capt. Bo of the WTF co. Posted October 10, 2011 Posted October 10, 2011 I'd be up for it, but not sure if we're going to continue internet service again next month. I have stuff off my forge to send out as gifts, but cannot guarantee I'll still be active on-line after this month. I can give my adress to ya if this thing goes. Bo

Duchess Posted October 12, 2011 Author Posted October 12, 2011 No idea! It sure seems both a long time ago and just last year.
landlubbersanonymous Posted October 13, 2011 Posted October 13, 2011 We're interested. (Good timing too. We were just about to let loose our pet rocks back into the wild.)
Stynky Tudor Posted October 13, 2011 Posted October 13, 2011 . . . as long as I don't have to give anything in return - I'm game.
kingofshooters Posted October 13, 2011 Posted October 13, 2011 Beg pardon , but what is the gift exchange exactly? Something done for overseas troops?
wes1761 Posted October 13, 2011 Posted October 13, 2011 The gift exchange consists of you submitting your name. Then Names are drawn and you will send a gift to the person whose name you have drawn. I dont remember a price limit, but if you sign on to participate you have to follow through, or the person you draw gets hosed. I am sure Duchess will chime in with her official rules...... If it was raining soup, I'd be stuck outside with a fork.....
Duchess Posted October 15, 2011 Author Posted October 15, 2011 Alrighty, there's enough unofficial interest, to make this worthwhile once again! See Secret Gift Exchange 2011 for information and official enrollment guidelines.
