wes1761
Here we be on the new ( new to me) boat, made sail and only used the trolling motor to ramp out....storm blew in. Now I just need to name the boat!! She's a 1972 Macgregor V-21...21 foot long, sleeps 4 (gotta learn to spoon!) 24 foot mast and moves along quite nice! And yupper, I flew the colors!! If it was raining soup, I'd be stuck outside with a fork.....

wes1761
Nope, its a new lake that was dug to build a 500 year levee. Its called lakeside park (or Lakeside 370) off of hwy 370 in St. Peters, MO...140 acre lake. It is officially open and the park has 50 full service RV slots, primitive camping, trails, etc. I was the very first sail boat out on the lake.....worst of all, I have to patrol it when I am working!! Darn the luck! Getting paid to cover a 400 acre park and the lake!! Not to mention the other 22 parks and 25 + miles of trail in the city!! If it was raining soup, I'd be stuck outside with a fork.....

Jas. Hook
GOOD GAWD MAN, why she ain't even pierced for a bow-chaser yet nor even a swivel gun mounted! Looks like a neat sailer. Best of luck with her Wes. Jas. Hook "Born on an island, live on an island... the sea has always been in my blood." Jas. Hook "You can't direct the wind . . . but . . . you can adjust the sails."
