Red-Handed Jill Posted July 1, 2011 Posted July 1, 2011 It's not surprising, since I live so close to the water, that the local streets are named accordingly. The neighborhood abounds with nautical-sounding streets, but a couple have been given names that are a wee bit more creative: So, does anyone else have any interesting street names near them?
Guest Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 Awh.... I live on Hwy. 4 ..... not very nautical. and being up in the mountains, most the streets are named after trees or wild flowers...Well there is "Love Creek" ......
hurricane Posted August 9, 2011 Posted August 9, 2011 Nothing exciting here, unless you're also a Jimmy Buffett fan. I'm living on the avenue that's known as A1a. -- Hurricane ______________________________________________________________________ http://piratesofthecoast.com/images/pyracy-logo1.jpg Captain of The Pyrates of the Coast Author of "Memoirs of a Buccaneer: 30 Year Before the Mast" (Published in Fall 2011) Scurrilous Rogue Stirrer of Pots Fomenter of Mutiny Bon Vivant & Roustabout Part-time Carnival Barker Certified Ex-Wife Collector Experienced Drinking Companion "I was screwed.
