Fayma Callahan
In this rush to finish all our plans, I just wanted to take a moment and thank you all for the extraordinary effort you all have made to make this the finest gathering of the bretheren that I have ever known. This Thanksgiving, I am grateful for you all. I could never have taken this on without all the love and support you all have given me. I simply cannot wait for you all to be here for our Pipmas family reunion. For those that have been here, welcome home. For those that are new, welcome to your NEW home. Everyone be safe, be happy, and get here fast! With Love, Momma http://picasaweb.google.com/jamesacallahan100

hurricane
It takes a yeoman's effort to get this all done - I know that Fayma, Lily, Sterling, Julie (PiP Festival Director) and I have had our share of fires to fight and issues to resolve. But it makes it worthwhile when we get to see everyone having a grand time together and really enjoying the amazing camaraderie this event affords. It truly is a labor of love. We could probably write a book about all the stuff that goes on behind the scenes, some of it extremely hilarious. I think this one's going to be the best yet, given all the volunteers who have stepped up to take over parts of this festival that only two or three have been handling since the beginning. Makes it that more enjoyable for all, and that includes all our pirate volunteers who spend their vacation time and hard earned money to make Pirates in Paradise what it is. A big thank you in advance to all of you. -- Hurricane ______________________________________________________________________ http://piratesofthecoast.com/images/pyracy-logo1.jpg Captain of The Pyrates of the Coast Author of "Memoirs of a Buccaneer: 30 Year Before the Mast" (Published in Fall 2011) Scurrilous Rogue Stirrer of Pots Fomenter of Mutiny Bon Vivant & Roustabout Part-time Carnival Barker Certified Ex-Wife Collector Experienced Drinking Companion "I was screwed. Silkie McDonough
Thank you all for your efforts in making this a wonderful reunion. As someone (Fayma I think) so eloquently put it: "The holiday between Thanksgiving and Christmas with the family you would choose" ...or something like that.
