Capt. Sterling
List of things to finish??? I don't even really have time to respond to your query, let alone type it all out.... btw... got yer phone message...will try and give ye a ring tonight "I being shot through the left cheek, the bullet striking away great part of my upper jaw, and several teeth which dropt down the deck where I fell... I was forced to write what I would say to prevent the loss of blood, and because of the pain I suffered by speaking."~ Woodes Rogers Crewe of the Archangel http://jcsterlingcptarchang.wix.com/creweofthearchangel# http://creweofthearchangel.wordpress.com/
Mission
I have to finish doing the template webpage for the Surgeon's Journal so half the work is done before I get there. Other than that, all I have to do is pack. Mycroft: "My brother has the brain of a scientist or a philosopher, yet he elects to be a detective. What might we deduce about his heart?" John: "I don't know." Mycroft: "Neither do I. But initially he wanted to be a pirate."
hurricane
Let's see... Teach Animal the new songs I decided to add at the last minute (sorry Animal, may be one more today to add). Come up with all the "person, places, things" for the Tall Tales Freestyle. Get the stage information to the Montessori kids doing a presentation on Wrecking Saturday. Make sure all the awards are correct. Coordinate the PA system for the stage. Make sure my dozen crew members know where they're going and what they're doing. Finish the sailing schedule for the WOLF. Clean the guns. Create the stage poster for the entertainment schedule. Make the last updates to the PiP website. I think that's it off the top of my head. -- Hurricane ______________________________________________________________________ http://piratesofthecoast.com/images/pyracy-logo1.jpg Captain of The Pyrates of the Coast Author of "Memoirs of a Buccaneer: 30 Year Before the Mast" (Published in Fall 2011) Scurrilous Rogue Stirrer of Pots Fomenter of Mutiny Bon Vivant & Roustabout Part-time Carnival Barker Certified Ex-Wife Collector Experienced Drinking Companion "I was screwed. William Brand
8 - Finish my notebook "What's that," he asked, agog with curiosity. Infinitely more interesting than it sounded. It's just a blank notebook of linen rag paper bound in leather. Simple. Functional. I keep one pocketed for jotting down names, notes, and information at PIP that needs to be remembered or reiterated at the time or stored after. The 'logbook' and 'ledgers' are probably next year's project, unless I suddenly get more time to work on them before PIP. Â Â Â
hurricane
Shay had to remind me of my real world responsibilities (I'll get you back, Shay :). I'm always amazed that my clients seem to know I'm about to leave town, as if it's a sixth sense. Always before PiP I get slammed with new client projects. I never tell them I'm leaving, but the S**T always hits the fan before PiP for some reason. Guest
Drat.... Don't think I will be mailing my Doglock afterall.... It would cost about $65.00 to get it there, and another $65.00 to get it back..... I can think of a buncha things I could buy for about $130.00.... If it wasn't for the snow, I could have gone over to Sonora and purchased a smaller gun case, and brought the Buss, or a pistol and payed for the "carry-on".... but now it's too late.... I will be mailing my machetti and knives tho..... Oh yeah.... I think the tarp is in storage..... so I probably won't get rained on afterall........
