captscurvy_nc
I don't have a pic yet but I will post one soon. I was hunting around this weekend for a new project and found a very unique wooden jewelry box at my local antique store. It's a wooden box with a black leather cover with a metal tall ship on it. Inside is red velvet and slats placed inside for what I assume is jewelry storage. The weird part is there are no makers mrks anywhere on it and it has a FM radio built into the box with two dials on the right side. Just curious if anyone has seen one of these before. Capt. Bo of the WTF co.
Sears, JC Pennys, Montgomery Wards used to offer things like this back in the 1970's in their catalouges, usually Japanese in origin if it has a radio in it. Should be some makers info inside the battery cover. Hope this helps. Bo
captscurvy_nc
I'll check inside to see. I wanted to restore it but wasn't sure if that would destroy any value it has (if any)

Capt. Bo of the WTF co.
My dad had one that was a cannon with am/fm, wish he'd kept it but it has been gone a long time now. He worked for Sears 42 years. Good luck with your project, sounds like a cool find!

Capt. Bo of the WTF co.
It was exactly identical to the second one with the long barrel and wheels. What i wouldn't do to have that again! thanks for the nostalgia. Bo
