Jas. Hook
LI Pirate Fest - Brigands I'm stuck between GUNS OF HAMPTON and Don't Forget Your Old Shipmate. It depends on which ear I'm listening to. Jas. Hook "Born on an island, live on an island... the sea has always been in my blood." Jas. Hook "You can't direct the wind . . . but . . . you can adjust the sails." Capt Thighbiter
Master Hook, t'were a pleasure meeting you ! I had no idea we had such venerable pirates here on the Island of Long! If'n ye liked "Guns of Hampton" be sure to pick up a copy of "Ship Happens" when it's released later this year. It will have "Guns" on it plus many other new tunes we have been working on - all liable to reside in your ear for an extended time! We have so many new songs to add that we pushed it back a bit. "Guns" will certainly be on it! We'll be performing it down in Marcus Hook this weekend. Capt Thighbiter
Finally, finally, we go into the studio this weekend to record "Guns of Hampton". It's been a long and trying after season for us, but "Guns" and 18-19 other tunes will be released by the time the Pirate other Salty Ball comes around at end of Feb. Ship Happens... it certainly does !! Pirate music at it's best, from 1650 onwards The Brigands
Capt Thighbiter
For those who have not yet gotten a copy of The Brigands CD "Ship Happens", we'll have plenty down at Blackbeard next weekend. It has the song "Guns of Hampton" on it, along with 20 other tunes. You can also pick up the Guns of Hampton t-shirt, which commemorates the 25 guns mentioned in the song, from Robins Dockside Shop, who will also have a booth at Blackbeard. Its a cool t-shirt, with Mr. Ben Cherry as Blackbeard and all 25 guns listed on it. angelgal918
Truth be told (and ya didn't hear it from me) Master Blackbeard shed a bit of a tear over Capt Moreau's mention... If you're gonna swing, swing for the fences...if you're going after Jaws, bring along the tartar sauce.

Jas. Hook
Ahoy Thighbiter - While listening for the first time to the song Ship Happens while on 95 South after the Salty Ball, for a moment I thought the CD player broke. Anything new planned for this year??? Jas. Hook "Born on an island, live on an island... the sea has always been in my blood." Jas. Jas. Hook
Thighbiter - Ever consider using the song Yarmouth Town for one of the tracks? Jas. Hook "Born on an island, live on an island... the sea has always been in my blood." Jas. Hook "You can't direct the wind . . . but . . . you can adjust the sails." Hawkyns
How about a live recording at FTPI? Cannon add dignity to what otherwise would be merely an ugly brawl I do what I do for my own reasons. I do not require anyone to follow me. I do not require society's approval for my actions or beliefs. if I am to be judged, let me be judged in the pure light of history, not the harsh glare of modern trends.
