Littleneckhalfshell Posted June 16, 2010 Posted June 16, 2010 Ran across this post on TreasureNet Forum. It is a link all about Buckles through the ages. http://www.netmarshall.co.uk/buckletitlepage.htm No Fear Have Ye of Evil Curses says you... Aye,... Properly Warned Ye Be says I
Captain McCool Posted June 16, 2010 Posted June 16, 2010 That's awesome! I have a weakness for buckles... Captain Jack McCool, landlocked pirate extraordinaire, Captain of the dreaded prairie schooner Ill Repute, etc. etc. ______________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ "That’s what a ship is, you know. It’s not just a keel, and a hull, and a deck, and sails. That’s what a ship needs. But what a ship is… what the Black Pearl really is… is freedom." -Captain Jack Sparrow
Admiral Kilo Posted June 16, 2010 Posted June 16, 2010 Those look interesting. Some of the 15th-18th century buckles I might not recognize as buckles unless I saw them in use.
