Lily Alexander
Tick count stands at 3, Mosquito's = too numerous to count, battling enormous spiders = 1. All in all, I would do it again in a heartbeat. It was wonderful to meet so many new folks and as always spending time with old friends is worth every bite and scratch. Thanks to Dutch,CSF & the Holly Point Maritime Museum for providing such a great venue. If you're gonna give me a headache, please bring me an aspirin! http://www.forttaylorpyrates.com/
Dutchman
Ahoy folks, well we made it despite the bugs and heat. I can't thank you all enough for giving this a chance. Many folks traveled a long way just to see what this event and the Foundation were all about. I know we didn't get to do all the things we had hoped for, but given the heat and a couple of timing snags I think we we're better off. If we do this again next year, we already have a whole list of new events that we never got to. HEHE- We had wonderful company, great food, and lots of laughs! Below are some of the videos that willoughby put together. Please disregard the typo in the foundations banner in the first clip- some of the letters melted off..... seriously, they did. Thank you all for a great venture! edit- we also raised the bar for future events. also in the first clip is the new H.M. Custom House. Yes, CSF is now taking entire historic reproduction buildings to events. The Custom House was modeled after the one in Oxford, Md. and will next be appearing at the Blackbeard Festival. http://www.youtube.com/user/hystericallycorrect#p/u/4/VIKMPwwIItU http://www.youtube.com/user/hystericallycorrect#p/u/0/v4MQpteRzXc http://www.youtube.com/user/hystericallycorrect#p/u/1/Tw5NtnyyAHM http://www.youtube.com/user/hystericallycorrect#p/u/2/YsWvSEU2ZHc

Capt. Sterling
Just found this Dutch...thought you might like to see it http://www.ssentinel.com/index.php/community/article/pirate_olympics_at_the_deltaville_maritime_museum/ "I being shot through the left cheek, the bullet striking away great part of my upper jaw, and several teeth which dropt down the deck where I fell... I was forced to write what I would say to prevent the loss of blood, and because of the pain I suffered by speaking."~ Woodes Rogers Crewe of the Archangel http://jcsterlingcptarchang.wix.com/creweofthearchangel# http://creweofthearchangel.wordpress.com/
