callenish gunner
Looks very nice Jack! Are you thinking of dyeing it or do you think you will keep it in the tan?
Jack Roberts
I'm thinking of leaving it as is. I like the natural color of it.

Iron Hand
I'm thinking of leaving it as is. I like the natural color of it. The tan really makes the hilt stand out. Where did ye get the sword, looks like and Epee or smallsword. Iron Hand's Plunder Purveyor of Quality Goodes of questionable origins
PoD
Thats very cool. What thickness / Weight leather did you use? ...and then I discovered the wine...
Jack Roberts
PoD; I used the 1" cowhide strap(Belts blanks) from Tandy Leather. They're just over 1/8 thick. Iron Hand; The bland is a Henwei/Paul Chen Scottish Court smallsword. I just got it from here. (A new edition, I can now play with the rest of the crew) Scottish Court Sword Cross; Ye can hand sew.... you can sew leather too. Just takes the right tools. Capt. Sterling
Where did you purchase the buckle? Jack Roberts
Ahh the buckle came from our very own, Weeping Heart, Greg. He has them in stock from time to time. It's just a shy bigger than 1".

Silkie McDonough
I suggest keeping it natural. Fionn loves his black one but the dye bleeds and perspiration & rain don't help the issue!
