Red Cat Jenny Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 The story and info here is very interesting in it's own right. The figurehead originally had a hand outstretched and the other held a nightingale. Being named Jenny and being Swedish I thought this was neet too It's an article and images so I'll just post the link. http://www.swedishnightingale.com/artikel.htm Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help.... Her reputation was her livelihood. I'm a pirate, love. By nature and by choice! My inner voice sometimes has an accent! My wont? A delicious rip in time...
Quartermaster James Posted February 3, 2010 Posted February 3, 2010 That's pretty cool. Thanks for sharing!
Mission Posted February 4, 2010 Posted February 4, 2010 Curious that the guy is all upset because it only sold at auction for $100K. I'm sure he put some time and money into his research, but not that much. Besides which, he may well have gotten payment for loaning it to all those museums. Mycroft: "My brother has the brain of a scientist or a philosopher, yet he elects to be a detective. What might we deduce about his heart?" John: "I don't know." Mycroft: "Neither do I. But initially he wanted to be a pirate."
Red Cat Jenny Posted February 4, 2010 Author Posted February 4, 2010 yeah, I thought that too..I think the info and research was worth more than the cash. Just a neet story Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help.... Her reputation was her livelihood. I'm a pirate, love. By nature and by choice! My inner voice sometimes has an accent! My wont? A delicious rip in time...
