Ivan Henry aka Moose
Hello! I'm looking for an English Civil war era jacket in the lightest wool possible, lined in linen, and a pair of Dutch slops in linen or the lightest wool possible. I would need them by mid February. At this point I would like to see some quotes from those of you who have made or can make these items period correct and all. Unseen stitches can be done on a machine, but I would want all button holes and any visible stitches done by hand. Thanks! Please PM me.... callenish gunner
Hey lad, you might try these folks. I've bought some other kit from them years ago anf they were pretty good Sykes Sutlery They should be able to kit you out for Searle's Raid
Ivan Henry aka Moose
Looks like Michael Bagsley is going to make a kit for me. Thanks everyone. Callenish, Sykes was too busy to meet the Searle's deadline.
michaelsbagley
Callenish, Sykes was too busy to meet the Searle's deadline. And he would rather have a Bagley original anyways... Wouldn't everyone? Sorry, Chrispy's comments at the PiP auction have gone to me head.

Gentleman of Fortune
Can't go wrong... Bagley or Stirling would have been my Recommendation and by the way, if you want them made out of 100 year old hand woven linen... let me know as I am sending a package to MB tomorrow.
