Democracy in Action could also be represented by the picture on Ropemaking and Knots.

It's weird, I can't see you photos on my laptop, but I can see them fine on almost any other computer. Unfortunately, I usually only have my laptop on the weekend when you post these.

Mycroft: "My brother has the brain of a scientist or a philosopher, yet he elects to be a detective. What might we deduce about his heart?"

John: "I don't know."

Mycroft: "Neither do I. But initially he wanted to be a pirate."

I doubt the phenomenon is universal. It's weird. It's only on my laptop.

so what you are saying is, if I post comics on Friday, you are the last one to see them? Awesome!

I'll try to post them during the week (or Sunday night at least)...

Love early flight demonstrations... my personal favorite

And I don't even want to think about what sort of food the black pirate would be vending...

Hey, mP, check this out.

I just got this one (off eBay). Looks kinda familiar, doesn't he? All he needs is a long coat and a hat. I cannot place this character in the movies, though. I know he's somewhere in Jabba's palace, but that's about it.

Disturbing, mates. Disturbing. :) These events sound dangerous! :) LOL

Good thing it's Lob getting the brunt of the jokes and not my monkey, King George. At least King George has CLOTHES! Poor Lob is buck naked!

Eager to see what more disturbing stuff will come after PiP for Pyrate vs Pirate.

disturbing indeed.

Lob arriving in a messenger bag and many other miscreants arriving in one place (meself included). It can only get worse after my second PIP.

FAIR WARNING MATES...

Between the Pub, Surgeon's Journal, Pyrate vs Pyrate, and another half dozen blogs (to be named later)... what happens at PIP does NOT stay at PIP

With Black Pyrate on the lamb - that is...

- - HE NEVER SHOWED FER PIP - -

and the resulting lack of source material... what can I say?

(its not OK mate. you scurvy underhanded pirate wot is good fer nothing  )

Just maybe...

White Pyrate finally did him in with his syringe?

Davy Jones gave im the black spot?

he was abducted walking down Duval street while coming home from the peep show?

he swapped hats with a magician and ran away with the rabbit? (sorry... random rabbits and all)

He's out drinking with the big monkey that rescued Lob (more than likely Lob knows)?

but we may never know...

Perhaps you should draw what he was doing instead of going to PiP.

Or rotate pirates, or make new colors? Laughs, but I dont wanna be Mr. Pink Pirate.

I do however have a candidate in mind for the Red Pirate.

Now if I were writing it, that comment alone would certify that you would be Mr. Pink Pirate.

"Quit bitching. It's just a color." B)

Actually, that was in there just for you Mission. I thought of you during the auction. There was a gentelman who donated a cutlass, he described it to me, and I shouted the details out to the crowd. In retrospect I wish I had shouted.. it's got a cracked timing case cover... a couple of teeth missing off the timing gear.....the radiators damaged to the core.....etc.

"What does that mean?"

"What does that mean?"

"Twenty-four hours!"

(That description probably wouldn't have helped you auction it it off, though. B) )
