Best worn with proper period foundation garments; stays, shift, habit shirt, under petticoat etc. Frock Coat 100% tan wool. lined with 100% "Colonial Blue" linen. interlined with heavy linen & buckram. Hand finished, no visible machine sewing! 9 Cloth covered, wooden mold buttons down the front match the jacket lining. Additional matching buttons under pocket flaps & dog-ear cuffs. All buttonholes hand bound in matching blue linen thread. 2 functional pockets. Decorative burgundy silk ribbon at cuffs.
