Capt. Sterling
It seems some sites may have the wrong date up for camp set up down at PiP. This is being corrected... but just a reminder that camps can not be set up until Wednesday Dec. 2...so please take this into consideration when arranging traveling plans... Hawkyns
Is there a time before which we should not arrive? Ny travel schedule will probably put me there first thing in the morning. Hawkyns Cannon add dignity to what otherwise would be merely an ugly brawl I do what I do for my own reasons. I do not require anyone to follow me. Capt. Sterling
Good question... I will find out... I believe the gates normally open at 8am for the park, but I will confirm as if there is someone from the BiB or Fayma is present, they may be able to allow folks in earlier on Wednesday... Fayma Callahan
Just for the "official" word regarding this thread: Camp set ups begin on Wednesday, as that is the date that the Park has started our "volunteer" status. Gate opens around 7am with staff present. I will be on-site, so if you arrive earlier than that, please call me and I can make appropriate arrangements. If anyone has already made plans to be in the Fort Tuesday, please email me at: faymacallahan@aol.com so that I can arrange a place for you. No one will be turned "out in the cold". I apologize for the confusion, and things with the Park are often difficult to decode. Now, where's that decoder ring...dang... gotta find that... See you all soon! Capt. Sterling
Well last year there were no showers provided, this year they will be, so, sorry to say, soap has become an issue. Diosa De Cancion
Ah, I am just a substitute runner, tis Fayma that is hitting the ball out of the park with all her hard work for we reenactors... So, I haven't been saying much lately, but yes, Fayma has done WAAAAYYYY MORE than any of us can ever know or really appreciate to have this festival happen this year. We all owe her so much gratitude it's immeasurable! She does this for her love of her pirate family and is killing herself while working tough hours and eating up all of her free time with this. We owe her a lot and all better be very very very good to her at PIP! She deserves to enjoy a stress free fest!
