Quartermaster James
Is it my imagination, or does it look like they put nearly one pound of BP in each anvil (the top anvil's load being sealed under paper)?
Mission
I sense the wheels turning... Mycroft: "My brother has the brain of a scientist or a philosopher, yet he elects to be a detective. Capt Thighbiter
Over on the Greybeard BP site, they talk a lot about anvil shoots. What I find amusing, the way you win is if your anvil lands on top of the mortar that shot it. Talk about lighting the fuse and running like HELL away from the piece. 1stMate Matt
It's a tradition at most blacksmithing events to "blow an anvil". Start the event with it and end with it. You wouldn't believe how high some go. -1st Mate of Pirates Magazine -Bladesmith/Owner of That Works Studio http://youtube.com/thatworks thatworks.shop
thunderbuster
We'd do it back home in East Tennessee, really fun event to be at. Couple of years ago Goat Days they had an event too. Fair Winds, thunderbuster
