Commodore Swab Posted October 19, 2009 Posted October 19, 2009 (edited) Shay Sansanee and Myself are based here in Key Largo and are trying to pull together information about the festival. The 2 websites found are: http://www.keylargopiratefestival.com/ -not being advertised on the radio http://www.keylargopiratesfest.com/ As many of us who live here can't afford the parties that are "sponsored" and remember how things fell apart last year due to the prices (most locals dont want to pay $5 for a beer when they know they can drink in their favorite place up the street for $1 or $2 instead). We were thinking of a pirate bash here at our house (on the water)sort of a pre PiP get together after the parade on Friday night. Anybody who has any plans or is thinking of planning on being here please post your plans If Saturday works better Saturday is fine Edited October 19, 2009 by vintagesailor
hurricane Posted October 19, 2009 Posted October 19, 2009 (edited) At the Bayside event we'll have some wine and period rum punch stashed as always, should we want to go on account there and pillage the stash we have to save coin. We're also all on the cheap... We could also do Friday if that works better for everyone... -- Hurricane Edited October 19, 2009 by hurricane -- Hurricane ______________________________________________________________________ http://piratesofthecoast.com/images/pyracy-logo1.jpg Captain of The Pyrates of the Coast Author of "Memoirs of a Buccaneer: 30 Year Before the Mast" (Published in Fall 2011) Scurrilous Rogue Stirrer of Pots Fomenter of Mutiny Bon Vivant & Roustabout Part-time Carnival Barker Certified Ex-Wife Collector Experienced Drinking Companion "I was screwed. hurricane Posted October 26, 2009 Posted October 26, 2009 What a blast the Bayside part of the festival was. We must have had 100 kids throughout the day and all the parents stayed until the end. We played so many games I can't even begin to remember them all. Thanks to all the crewe and particularly Shay and VintageSailor for the cannon and gunfire. -- Hurricane -- Hurricane ______________________________________________________________________ http://piratesofthecoast.com/images/pyracy-logo1.jpg Captain of The Pyrates of the Coast Author of "Memoirs of a Buccaneer: 30 Year Before the Mast" (Published in Fall 2011) Scurrilous Rogue Stirrer of Pots Fomenter of Mutiny Bon Vivant & Roustabout Part-time Carnival Barker Certified Ex-Wife Collector Experienced Drinking Companion "I was screwed.
