Quartermaster James
anyone know a way to strecth out shoes around the toes??? uh...a shoe stretcher perhaps? They usually come with little knobbies to stretch particular spots as well as generally enlarging the toe box. http://www.shoeandfootcare.com/c/stretchers/

René la Gaffe
i agree with callenish, the best thing i ever did for my shoes was to wear them through a thunderstorm and its aftermath.....get them good and soaked, then wear them till they are dry(or close to it) Monsieur René "la Gaffe" Truffaut - Sailor -filibustier - grenadier - Fiddler - free man (for now) .........I am french, why else would i have this outrageous accent, you silly man!..........You don't frighten me, English sea dogs. Go and boil your bottoms, you sons of a silly person. I blow my nose at you, so-called "Capi-tain" you and all your silly English Pieeer-raghts........ Ended up down pouring at one point at Mifflin... They fit soooooo nice now. This is especially good for the straight lasted sort 'cause then they conform to your feet quicker. hurricane
That's the cowboy way to do it. They get a brand new pair of cowboy boots, fill up the tub and jump in. Then they wear them till they dry. For minor changes in the fit, there is a silicone spray called Shoe Stretch that you can get in the shoe accessory area at Wal Mart. Spray it inside and it allows the show to stretch easily. Works great on a tight instep or a non-giving heal. Use it all the time. -- Hurricane -- Hurricane ______________________________________________________________________ http://piratesofthecoast.com/images/pyracy-logo1.jpg Captain of The Pyrates of the Coast Author of "Memoirs of a Buccaneer: 30 Year Before the Mast" (Published in Fall 2011) Scurrilous Rogue Stirrer of Pots Fomenter of Mutiny Bon Vivant & Roustabout Part-time Carnival Barker Certified Ex-Wife Collector Experienced Drinking Companion "I was screwed.
