Spoke to Fayma, for them participating in the Walk the Plank contest, odds are, no it isn't nailed down yet, but odds are the contest will be on Thursday some where around 4-6pm

I'm not sure where you're all getting your information...

The Walk the Plank Championships is from 3 to 4 p.m. at the Historic Seaport on Thursday. Following that is the dinner at the El Meson at 6 p.m. for the awards ceremony.

This is a Pyrates of the Coast event, so as far as I know, this time is set in stone and has been confirmed with the WOLF. If it were different, I would be the first to know.

So you can plan around these time points with confidence.

If anyone wants to see the current schedule for the entire week, it's at http://www.piratesinparadise.com

One reason we're planning on such a late dinner is so people can go to the plank championship and cheer those participating on. Not many people can afford the tickets for the dinner so we have to plan something for the crew to eat. Given this much advanced notice and planning, win or lose, we will find you a ride and get you back to where you belong :)

We'll be back again with the old van... seats 8... plus more on the floor if necessary!

You're welcome to use it any time.

Actually Dogge, we saw you on the road walking back to the fort. Our crewe took a poll and we headed down a side street instead, laughing our arses off all the way. Turns out there were some sore losers aboard from the Walk the Plank Championships... hahaha!

I would offer to bring Dog back with me after the competition but I don't think I will be participating ... my favorite memory from PiP 2008 was contributing to d'Dogge' "Walk the Plank" performance! LOL

I've heard that there is an anti-Dogge campaign going on for this year. You didn't hear it from me -- well, I guess you did. Blame bottle of truth syrum (wine) on that. :) Two timer Dogge? Or a three timer? I hear there's a plan afoot to unseat you this year...

If Master d'Dogge pulls off the hat trick, does he get to keep the boat? Sort of like retiring the trophy and so on...

Hmmm the Wolf? Now that would be an interesting proposition... at least if he wins, he can live a bit longer... the rope fits more than one neck, don't ye know.

I think Admiral Finbar would be glad to use him as the WOLF's anchor. Is that close enough? :)

yeah...i can see why many wouldnt want the likes of me to participate....if memory serves.....hhhhmmmm.... <_<

the first year we participated we only got national attention thru the papers from tallahassee to california.....

a producer saw that Front page and subsequent video of the sword fight off the plank....

created a whole pilot around the Regining Champion and Contest....to base a new show off of.....

And 2nd year we participated.....not only was the Pilot filmed.....but got on the "GOOD MORNING AMERICA" show...where (yours truly and others) were shown ...durring the contest.... B)

yeah.....i can see why noone would want the likes of me to participate..... <_<

So true, so true. You have brought a bit of notoriety to the event - I dare not say otherwise. I for one look forward to your attempt to Three-Peat this year, if you can voyage down. It is not I who speaks so vile words... I am but the humble captain who "points" the way to the watery grave with his sticker. Although perhaps this year I should just shoot you and be done with it. :)

But that inflated ego makes him more buoyant after plank walking. Perhaps we should pop him with some grapeshot this year... <_<
