Aye, yes...I know I've been gone from the Pub for awhile, and suspect that will be the case for a another week from the looks of it. Figured I'd take a bit of time and give everyone a run down on the recent events (since I've commandered this notebook and internet connection). As of late, I've been in the process of moving and we should all know what a Port Royal pain in the arse that is. In the mix with that, I have both my personal and work computers due back from their upgrades, in the next day or two. I'm still shaking my head on how that timing worked out. .......and then, there's a business trip (Sweden) I shall be heading out for come next Tuesday. So, if ye don't see me in these waters for a bit, it's not at all do to the company......I swear! Trust everyone is well and in full pyrate form. Miss everyone one of you!

Now....where is that ship I was going to steal.....er....borrow? *has her eye setting a course on the historical Vasa in Stockholm*

When ye visit those Scanda-knave-vian countries I've always found it best to constantly remind them those Vikings left their best blood lines in Scotland, where they were toughened and tuned into REAL fighting men.

"The time was when ships passing one another at sea backed their topsails and had a 'gam,' and on parting fired guns; but those good old days have gone. People have hardly time nowadays to speak even on the broad ocean, where news is news, and as for a salute of guns, they cannot afford the powder. There are no poetry-enshrined freighters on the sea now; it is a prosy life when we have no time to bid one another good morning."
