Tartan Jack
How easily would it be to alter these into period-accurate style? (Worth $12?) From talking to a couple folks, I will need a narrower, taller waist band and to make the legs rectangular in profile. Anyone make a pair based on this pattern? Pros? Cons? -John "Tartan Jack" Wages, of South Carolina
LadyBrower
Um, before you buy a pattern, check out this thread: https://pyracy.com/index.php?showtopic=11363&st=0 I haven't tried this way yet, but I have made three or four pairs of slops without any pattern at all and they turned out quite nicely. Patrick's way looks fantastic and I will try these next. Free is better than spending money on the pattern and still having to alter it. =) Cook and Seamstress to the Half Moon Marauders Lady Brower's Treasures, Clothing and other treasures Hell Hath No Fury like the Wrath of a Woman...
