It would make someone a fabulous fantasy pirate coat or perhaps a great Steam Punk or Airship Pirate coat? The size is Large, it's made of heavy cotton with a full rayon lining. There are two inside pockets and two functional outside pockets. There is a lot of detail in this coat. Like I said, I bought it just this past fall and have worn it probably two-three times.
