lady constance Posted May 16, 2009 Share Posted May 16, 2009 and smaller clothes means easier and faster sewing!!! and use of the scraps you have left over frmo big pirate accesories and such---- does anyone know if they ever backed their linen stuff with wool so that it could be reversible?{ and more warm} and even thinking that smaller peices could be pieced/ whole cloth and backed with wool scraps for blankets.....for the youngens--- and--- i have noticed in some period art work---> pillows--- guessing they stuffed them with feathers--- i cannot conclude ANYTHING except that people back then used their creative powers to make what was necessary out of what they had! any who agree?
