blackjohn
I'm going to be giving a short lecture on underwater cultural heritage in Norfolk next week, and I was wondering if anyone knows of any good restaurants in the area? Mr.Tignor
well if you take the ferry into olde towne portsmouth(departing from waterside) you could go to my favorite affordable sea food restaurant the Lobsouser(on high street) pplluusss i crew the ferry during the weekdays so id love to say hello and attack you for infor...i mean friendly conversation. lol But otherwise i agree with dutch on the freemason abbey, if its in season, i would murder someone for their she-crab soup...i dont care how hot it is outside.. Monsieur René Truffaut - Sailor - grenadier - flibustier - free man (for now) .........I am french, why else would i have this outrageous accent, you silly man!..........You don't frighten me, English sea dogs. Go and boil your bottoms, you sons of a silly person. I blow my nose at you, so-called "Capi-tain" you and all your silly English Pieeer-raghts........ blackjohn
Hey, I wish I could take you up on the offer. But my plan at present is to do my gig, then high tail it for home. With a possible stop at the gift shop/bookstore in Williamsburg. My Home on the Web The Pirate Brethren Gallery Dreams are the glue that holds reality together. blackjohn
Yesterday I realized I hadn't been to Williamsburg since son #1 was born. So when I stopped there on my way home, walking around town reminded me how much I really love the 18thC. blackjohn
Can't say that I know them, but anyone who lives down in the Tidewater should consider themselves lucky. I sometimes daydream about retiring down there. Either that, or more likely Saint Mary's. And hey, if anyone is interested, I've made the powerpoint available at: http://www.piratebrethren.com/articles/UCH...onf%20Color.ppt Though I suspect without my narration it won't make a great deal of sense.
