Lazarus Gage Posted May 6, 2009 Posted May 6, 2009 I don't know if anyone has discussed this or not, but one of my favorite bands has an epic sea shanty/sea themed song that is one of my favorites. The band is called the Decemberists and the song is called The Mariners Revenge . If you have never heard of the band or the song you are really missing out.

The Brigands cover 'Mariners Revenge" on our CD, "X". Different take on the great Decemberists tune. More salty, less like klezmer music. Pirate music at it's best, from 1650 onwards The Brigands
