In my teens I got the coolest pyrate-ship-battle cartoon poster from Spencer's Gifts at a mall (circa 1986-ish). It featured a ton of little pyrates carving each other up. I'd love to get that poster back. It was a pretty big poster, wider than tall, with a black background and two ships in a dark ocean, with a cute but fierce battle in full progress. Pyrates were drawn with a lot of detail, kinda like the "Where's Waldo?" of pyrate ship battles. The one I remember best was hacked in half with a shocked look on his face. Lots of cute gory details.
