Old Horse Posted April 16, 2009 Posted April 16, 2009 Well met! I stumbled upon yer forum following the trail of a felt hat. I live in the island of Puerto Rico in the caribbean, and I have an unhealthy interest in pirates. There are old spanish forts still standing in the island. Most of them actually repelled pirate raids (you can see the cannon balls wedged on some of the walls). Unfortunately, modern Puerto Rico doesn't concentrate too much on pirates, but we are looking forward to change that! My interests are many, but chief among them is making stuff! I would like to take advantage of the knowledge contained in this forum to keep on learning. In exchange for your knowledge, I offer the same in return. I have some experience making props, leather and metal items and a few other odds and ends (plus you can come hang out to a caribbean island and drinks lots of rum!) Here's one of my projects from last year: It's a treasure chest cooler. Hope to meet all of ye soon!
