Ransom
A friend just called me and told me about this site. It looks to be affiliated with eBay, but is all Steampunk stuff, and the prices seem a lot cheaper than those I've seen on eBay. There is also a sidebar blog site with lots of other links and info. Very kewl. buysteampunk.com ...schooners, islands, and maroons and buccaneers and buried gold... You can do everything right, strictly according to procedure, on the ocean, and it'll still kill you. 'Bastian Devareaux
I came upon this while doing research and have yet to make it through the list of sites. It seemed a rather nice gathering of vendors. Enjoy! http://www.geocities.com/steampunkfashion/index.htm (My apologies, you might have to "cut and paste" the addy.) I might have to break down and buy one of these... http://www.larp-fashion.de/shop/images/5127.jpg ....That is unless I can find the replica pattern. Red Cat Jenny
In my usual bout of sleeplesness I have found a new place for those of you "punking" in or near LA with areas called The lab, the generator lounge and the tesla lounge. A steampunk style lounge/restaurant set in a 20's era actual powerplant with the original generators and some way cool furniture in place. What a great place for photos, to hang out or if you surf their site some inspiration.. http://www.edisondowntown.com/main.htm Why does the East coast never catch up? Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help.... Her reputation was her livelihood. I'm a pirate, love. By nature and by choice! My inner voice sometimes has an accent! My wont? Red-Handed Jill
I've gotta find some of that metallic fondant paint. I'm not interested in making a tiered cake, but just one of those layers would be a blast to try my hand at crafting. Any suggestions on where I could get my hands on that paint? These cakes are pretty cool, too - check out the last one: More steampunk cakes
Ransom
I would think any place that sells cake decorating supplies might have it, or could maybe order it for you. It would be kewl to do one layer cake that looked like a big cog or gear, with rivets. ...schooners, islands, and maroons and buccaneers and buried gold... Red-Handed Jill
I stopped at Michaels today and managed to find pearlescent dust in gold, bronze and silver. Apparently you dust it over the fondant or mix it with vanilla or vodka and paint it on. Time permitting, I'll give it a try this weekend.

Quartermaster James
Well, this ain't really got nothing to do with no brass goggles or airships. Maybe things served on fancy, hoity-toity airships, but here goes: Epicute Make a pot of tea and browse a while. Cheers!
