Captain Robert Darksoul
Agrees with Sterling on the the Scenerio.. it was as if to say... C'mon you haven't had enough already? I just want me Money Of course the kill scene was definitely one for the books.. Won't spoil it for Lady B... But that was classic!! Was a hillarous simulation lol

LadyBarbossa
If I had photographic memory, I'd recall that face.. but alas, Matt... completely escapes me. I FINALLY got t' see the damned episode. Most interesting. I have to admit, I laughed my arse off when the guys defending the Knights said something to the effect that Knights did not 'disappear' or go out of style. Ummm, yes they did! LOL... lumbering around in a metal tin can? over no metal tin can hampering ye? Which would be easier to manuver and more agile! Hello?! No brainer! And, the broadsword is NOT that lightweight. It slicing through the pig did nit surprise me. Damn, my own sword feels like a damned broadsword cause it's so damned heavy and not so easy to fight with unlike a cutlass or rapier or small sword. Hehehehe... and as for the Blunderbuss... DUH!!! Why th' hell do ye think we likes it so bloody freakin' much? LOL... Oh, agreed, Sterling and Shipwreck... that was a frakkin' amazing and hilarious fight. The rolling of the eyes, off the with the treasure, and the "bloody hell" was just fabulous! And the pistol shot to the face after opening the "lid" and smiling down as though to say "bye-bye" was perfect! But... I think they kinda took the bloodthirsty a tad bit over the top... sort of. I know a few of them were like that.. but still. All in all... in the immortal words of Adam Sandler - "Not too shabby". (only cause the pirate won!) Now... they need to do Pirate verse Ninja! end that Pirate vs Ninja BS once and for all. ~Lady B Tempt Fate! an' toss 't all t' Hell!" "I'm completely innocent of whatever crime I've committed." The one, the only,... the infamous!
1stMate Matt
While out in LA I got to meet the guy who did all of the pirate weapons demos for the show. I also got to play with most of the weapons that have been used in this season of shows. It was fun to see all of those weapons up close. I dont know if you saw that gladiator episode but I got to play with the bladed gauntlet that Chuck Lidell punched the cow with. That was evil. I will get some pictures uploaded in the next day or so. -1st Mate of Pirates Magazine -Bladesmith/Owner of That Works Studio http://youtube.com/thatworks thatworks.shop
William Blydes
I just saw the Taliban vs. IRA. Served over in the south of Afghanistan with a Brit Major who was a policemen in Northern Ireland. It was off on both sides. Especially the Taliban. William Blydes I don't get lost, I EXPLORE! Adventures on the High Seas (refitted and back on station!) Tartan Jack
It was off on both sides. Especially the Taliban. I am not surprised in the LEAST! -Different weapons, different tactics, different terrain, different intent, different in many, many ways. I SWEAR, the force those together to make them somewhat compatible. EX: William Wallace's tactics and weapons were aimed at heavily armed English cavalry, infantry, and long-bow archers. The Zulus were nothing of the kind. Both would use different weapons and tactics fighting one another than who the actually DID fight. They both were excellent at maximizing what they had against who they had to fight. There is NO WAY to accurately compare them without being overly compromised. The same with Knights/Pirates, IRA/Taliban, and the like . . . I agree with whoever said: It is a bar-discussion/debate/argument taken WAY to far! -John "Tartan Jack" Wages, of South Carolina

1stMate Matt
The show is for one purpose and that is FUN. We could pick each episode apart forever and even if they took our suggestions and re-did and episode it would still leave tons for us to complain about. Got to meet some of the guys behind scenes and they came up with the show idea and ran with it. It has been a successfull show so far and it leaves much to talk about. Its a fun watch after coming home from work where I make swords and weapons all day. I get to see some fun demos and some weapons nerds have a blast. I doubt even the show creators would claim there results to be evidence. Just fun. -1st Mate of Pirates Magazine -Bladesmith/Owner of That Works Studio http://youtube.com/thatworks thatworks.shop

Funny the weapons that were were used in the pirate v. knight episode were up at Big Bear Pirate Faire with me this weekend, including the beautiful boarding axe those idiots polished after denting it on the knights helmet. You may have met the 'actor' and 'specialist', but you didn't meet the special effects expert or armorer. Also, the yacuza v. mafia weapons are cleaned and in storage waiting for the next call from Morning Star.
