Just came across this....well, actually I think it was just released:

Air Steamship by DAZ - Free for a short time

It's a CGI 3D model of an Air Steamship, not a "pirate" ship but can be modified to such.

It can be used in a variety of 3D rendering programs, DAZ also has such a program for free called DAZ:Studio, not as full featured as others but getting fairly mature (still buggy IMO). If anyone here uses Poser, Vue, Carrara, Bryce, or other such programs then these 'models' will work in them (Poser & DAZ:Studio naively, the others with just a few tweaks)

I have another, much more better one IMO, that I have been meaning to get rendered for you but just have not had that much time for art lately, plus the one I have has many add-ons and takes some time just to set up, let alone render with full sky background and such. This is the one I currently have: Orient Express

You can do everything right, strictly according to procedure, on the ocean, and it'll still kill you. But if you're a good navigator, a least you'll know where you were when you died.......From The Ship Killer by Justin Scott.
