endkaos
In the chat room Sunday night, Robin stated there would be a faire at Estrella Park, Arizona on February 11-16. Said to do a search and it would come up. Well, it didn't. Anyone have information on this. Much appreciated. ~Tori Like any unmanned ship, a novice sailor will eventually steer into the wind and then in circles.
Hawkyns
it's not a faire, it's the second largest SCA interkingdom War. Here's the website http://www.estrellawar.org/ Been to it once, but that was a couple of years back. Being from the East, it was quite a bit different than what I'm used to. Hawkyns Cannon add dignity to what otherwise would be merely an ugly brawl I do what I do for my own reasons. I do not require anyone to follow me. I do not require society's approval for my actions or beliefs. if I am to be judged, let me be judged in the pure light of history, not the harsh glare of modern trends. Jamaica Rose
Estrella War is held near Phoenix. Though it is an SCA war, there are usually several pirates to be found encamping there. The Corsairs might be found about. If you run into Ares, Cap'n Gato, Scarlett Hawkins (aka Mouse), Larry Dillie, Slippery Dick, or Gary Siler, give them a hearty greetings from Jamaica Rose and Cap'n Michael MacLeod. And there is a possibility we might even be there ourselves. Looking into taking a long weekend to drive out there. Phoenix
This sounds like an experience not to be missed. I'll be checking to see how feasible it is for me to attend. Igniting the fire but rising above the flames
