If we are to do without characters,

Whatever will we do without ye?

Tis in me Character good sir to stand fast, the gunwhales to my back

and take pity on such a fancy boy as ye. Thar be the greatest of

pleasure in witnessing of yar begging that yar spleen be not spliced before the mast now

tha cat be let out of the bag!

Hangin at Execution dock awaits. May yer Life be a long and joyous adventure in gettin there!
As he was about to face the gallows there, the pirate is said to have tossed a sheaf of papers into the crowd, taunting his audience with these final words:

"My treasure to he who can understand."

 did he just call me a flowering chimpanzee??

;) (Well who wouldn't want to be a flowering chimpanzee?)

Mycroft: "My brother has the brain of a scientist or a philosopher, yet he elects to be a detective. What might we deduce about his heart?"

John: "I don't know."

Mycroft: "Neither do I. But initially he wanted to be a pirate."

Nor mine to advocate real cannibalism, at least not while the public is watching.

Now, back to the insults & banter! Leave hanging the lawyers for another thread!

As to Lawyers..It would have been fun to watch them dance to the Tyburn hornpipe!

As fer you my nemesis....Eye liken it be better in finding an island the size of the galley table

to maroon ye with a shovel , thar ye can dig for your treasure....eagh eagh ..

("Executions took place at Tyburn until the 18th century (with the prisoners processed from Newgate Prison in the City, via St Giles in the Fields and Oxford Street), after which they were carried out at Newgate itself and at Horsemonger Lane Gaol in Southwark.")

As fer you my nemesis....

Yarr! Now who be using the quarter-shilling words?

n. pl. nem·e·ses (-sēz′)

An opponent that cannot be beaten or overcome.

Well, as it's been a long three days of throwing lead, seizing plunder, and grabbing booty; I'll just take the compliment and thank ye kindly. :D

I pray thee well.... in that the Sunshine warms ye bones

albiet the winds fill yar sails to charted isles of ye dreams best..

I bid thee well!

Just a thought to change up temporarily.. I can't be negative today..i just can't!

Beside people in public like it much better than being called a cold hearted bilge rat..LoL

Tis a challenge both fair and bold

The OdorlessEye does propose:

Less lead sent and more gold

Delivered in words of verse and prose.

That we may each, from one to one,

Speak good words of honour and true

And rising heavenward, liken to the sun:

Illuminate our compatriot’s virtue.

What kind heart this coarse form conceals,

That seeks so to deliver other’s delight?

The lady’s blush, the children’s squeals,

Tis this gold hearted rogue’s true right.

So, having won your bounty full,

Eye sail for many adventures more.

Wind to your back, with mastery and skill,

To you: fair winds, smooth seas, kind ports.

Posted (edited)

By Your leave good sir, tis ye good Quartermaster, Eye hereby elevate to the the heights that not only fair winds and following seas be with you but also that God himself may speed you with fair dreams and good fortune attending ye where ever thou go. Eye bid thee farewell for the nonce

Nonce Means for the time being.. Aye looks like I shall be learning words of old thru this banter..
