michaelsbagley
Gack, I'm so wrapped up in trying to get ready for Searle's Raid on St. Augustine and for the PA/MD Border wars I haven't had time to think that far ahead... Now I think you have given my poor little noggin' one too many things to be excited about. I might become over stimulated. I might replace the local village idiot (or am I that already?) On a more serious note, do you have room for a Red Coat (or I could play pirate for this one) and his wife this year?
Dutchman
same rules as last time mate. I have no idea where you will land, but put together a plan that will work for 1718 keghoughtan (now Hampton) and have sterling submit it to pern. callenish gunner
We're already making plans to be there again this year ....but this year we'll be staying in the encampment and save the money for the ball; we'd rather put that money to entertain our friends and make sure the camp is secure!!! Capt. Sterling
He had left all his medical equipment out one night and went home to bed... well it started raining late in the evening or early in the morning as the case might be, and Dutch and I woke up and went around camp tossing things in the appropriate tents... Damnation Mickey Souris is a difficult man to wake up... any way, I took all Mission's medical stuff and stowed it in my tent... the next morning he comes running into camp, in a bit of a panic wondering where his equipment is... I told him, next thing he grabs me and kisses me on the cheek... and then steps back and says.."OMG, I just kissed captain sterling!" He promptly apologized claiming he "wasn't that sort of man!" so watch out lads...I guess his medical equipment is very special... snigger. Edited December 24, 2008 by Capt. michaelsbagley
Damnation Mickey Souris is a difficult man to wake up... Hey! I ressemble that remark!!! That little trick is what makes me such a die hard re-enactor! The ability to actually get some sleep during the 24 hour a day buzz and hubbub of an event was a very hard earned talent! Capt. Sterling
Next time then, take yer gun to bed and not the wife, she'll dry off without any problems if it rains... michaelsbagley
Next time then, take yer gun to bed and not the wife, she'll dry off without any problems if it rains... So many quips I can respond to this with, and I'm so going to get my butt kicked to hell and back for any and all of them.... So I'll show some retraint and limit myself to receive two but-kickins... But the gun would probably be warmer... Why take my gun when I can sleep with M.A. d'Dogge's instead?
