Ahhh, sorry, blond moment...

Believe me...when given the choice of sleeping in a tent with Captain Sterling in it, and sleeping in a tent without...well, there's really no choice at all. ;)

without huh..?....that would be my choice too..... ;)

Only when the captain of the marines is around..but shhh....

Oh, how beautiful it used to be

It was darn entertaining.... although I think part of my entertainment level came from the fact that I had more than my fair share of the fairy....

Perhaps we should pool some money together. That would go into a beer and rum fund for gate guards.

That way we have an incentive for people to do their watches. FREE BOOZE!

Wadda think?

"Hark!! who goes there" - sorry just practicing.

Sterling: "Don't tell him, he should know it by now!"

Now that made me chuckle; I see it so clearly.

As for gate duty, I'm in as we all should be. Two or more at a time though, two hours max and some sort of seating/place to get comfortable.

Hell as long as there is a bottle of Green Fairy and a chair, I'll man the gate and laugh my arse off when Dogge wants to know the combination...

If you have the bottle of green fairy, I'm with ya! I'll even carry ya back after your shift at the gate and take pictures so you can keep the laughter going in months to come :)

You two are very mean to the poor Dogge. If you really want to do it right, I'll bring the Video Camera to cherish the memory in all its' glory.

Right then, we have more and more planned, so we need to be careful how we schedule all this... I already need to clone myself by ten for next year's event because there just wasn't enough of me to go around this year, and aye, I got an earful regarding it... Yes I would love to be in the pub and the hide and the fort and at the pirate Olympics to support my crewe and do the livng history and skits I promised all at the same time, but frankly I tried this time, ran myself ragged and no one was happy because I wasn't where they thought I should be...

so honestly, it would be fun to run gate duty, but I'm thinking, just how much would it cost to hire on a security guard to watch the gate and each crew chip in for them?
