Mission Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 Probably half my iPod music selections are movie soundtracks. You want me to pick? Well, here's some based on recent listening, in no particular order. 1. Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom 2. POTC: DMC (These first two are the suckiest movies of the series, but they are the best soundtracks. Ironic, isn't it?) 3. Steamboy 4. On Her Majesty's Secret Service - Expanded version. Journey to Blofeld's Hideaway is a track so beautiful it makes you ache. 5. Tomorrow Never Dies - the uncut version, not the original studio version. The uncut version is amazing. There are many highlights but Bike Chase is a personal favorite. 6. Addam's Family Values 7. Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban 8. Cowboy Bebop 9. The Big Bounce There's more...so many more. That's a good sample, though. Mycroft: "My brother has the brain of a scientist or a philosopher, yet he elects to be a detective. What might we deduce about his heart?" John: "I don't know." Mycroft: "Neither do I. But initially he wanted to be a pirate."
Red-Handed Jill Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 Hmmm.... Master and Commander Last of the Mohicans Heavy Metal POTC1 The Commitments There's more but that's what comes to mind right now.
Cpt Sophia M Eisley Posted December 13, 2008 Posted December 13, 2008 Little Women (has some great repeating themes in it) PoTC I The Haunted Mansion (musical score) Indy Jones I, II and III Beetlejuice (heck, any Elfman score tied to Burton) Superman Returns Young Sherlock Holmes 300 (I agree, a few tracks in there could be used for bellydancing) Bend it Like Beckham Ghostbusters I Perhaps we'll meet again under better circumstances. ---(---(@ Dead Men...Tell No Tales. Welcome, Foolish Mortals...
