blackjohn
We chart Kingman Reef... Kingman Reef is just about as likely a candidate for the "middle of nowhere" as you will ever find. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kingman_Reef That's got to be a fascinating place... a pile of gravel a meter or so above sea level, sometimes awash, in the middle of Pacific Ocean. Boggles my mind... My Home on the Web The Pirate Brethren Gallery Dreams are the glue that holds reality together.

Red Cat Jenny
That is likely the lonliest Palm tree on Earth. Thanks for this BlackJohn, so cool! When the Old International Terminal still stood at JFK, right by the Starbucks there was a mural sized map of the world. I used to look for all the teeny far awayest places and wonder what the people there were doing at precisely that moment. The Ocean thankfully, is still a frontier. Some days even my lucky rocketship underpants won't help.... Her reputation was her livelihood. I'm a pirate, love. By nature and by choice! My inner voice sometimes has an accent! My wont? A delicious rip in time...
blackjohn
I know... poor little tree... Imagine what that place must've seemed like to those intrepid travelers on the flying boats that stopped there briefly... great thing to daydream about...
